Aaron tutored my son through his A level in Physics. His teaching was excellent and he tailored exactly to my son’s needs.

Common Questions

Which exam boards are covered? AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, Int. Edexcel, Int. Cambridge, IB DP, Oxford AQA

Do you teach Combined Science as well as Separate Physics? Here at GBAP we cater to Physics students only. Whether you are studying Combined (Double) or Separate (Triple) Physics, you're in the right place.

What is the difference between 1:1 and group tuition? 1:1 tuition gives your child completely personalised support. Sessions can move at exactly their pace, focus on their individual weaknesses, and change direction whenever needed. It is ideal for students who need targeted help, are preparing for a specific exam, or benefit from more individual attention. Group tuition offers many of the same benefits, but students learn alongside others working at a similar level and stage of their course. Groups are kept small so students can still ask questions and receive support, while also benefiting from discussion, shared problem-solving and seeing how other students approach the same questions.

How much does tuition cost? GCSE is priced at £80 for 1:1 tuition and £35 for group sessions.

What happens during a typical session? Using the student's exam board specification, we work through content that has been identified as a weakness. There is plenty of past-paper question practice, and the right amount of guidance to improve confidence. Most sessions do not involve testing. Answers are developed together, and questions are encouraged. The aim is to improve grades and confidence.

How do parents keep up-to-date with progress? After each session I will send a short WhatsApp voice note to feedback what happened during the session, and what our next steps will be.

Can students outside the UK attend? Of course! Both 1:1 and group tuition sessions accommodate students from almost every country in the world. All you need is a quiet space and half-decent wifi coverage.

How do I know if tuition is a good fit? before the first session we can have a FREE 15-minute chat to have all your questions answered and get to know one another. If, after the first session, you want to stop tuition I will offer a free refund. If you engage with more than one session, no refund is offered but you can cancel anytime with no charge.
